Villeurbanne (France), 10 December 2014 – Business Geografic announced today that its GeoBI 4 mapping component has been certified for integration with SAP® BusinessObjects™ Business Intelligence (BI) Semantic Layer Java SDK 4.0. This certification confirms Business Geografic’s strategy to integrate geo-business intelligence with SAP BusinessObjects BI solutions, helping customers explore, geo-analyze and geo-report their business data and indicators on dynamic maps integrated in their BI reports.
GeoBI adds the spatial dimension to the semantic layer in SAP BusinessObjects BI solutions by combining geographical and business data to create dynamic, interactive analytical maps, using most of the mapping features available on Business Geografic’s GIS platform. As an integrated mapping component for SAP BusinessObjects BI solutions, GeoBI provides:
- a direct connection to data placed in the semantic layer of the BI software,
- tight integration of maps into BI reports,
- a dynamic and bilateral link between maps and all other objects of the BI reports,
- full compliance with the administration rules and features of the BI software.
GeoBI can manage a wide range of geographical data: administrative regions, commercial areas, cities and towns, industrial sites or agencies, satellite and aerial images. GeoBI comes with innovative, powerful representation modes such as heat maps and flow maps. GeoBI also offers access to Business Geografic’s Business GEO Services including geocoding, isolines and route optimization.
Amaël Grivel, managing director of Business Geografic:
